"Ancient Life forms 101" is an abstract expressionistic acrylic mural created by Damiani in the High Desert of Southern California in 2000. It represents the artists perception of an ancient Cambrian reef colony of algae, not unlike fossil remnants found in Cadiz, CA, in the Trilobite Preserve. The mural is highly resined with multiple textured elements lending themselves to the complex composition of the reef and its under currents.
